This is a clamoring of competing forces, an easy season to stand out in. Get a trad trumpet skirt, long or mini, and punk it out in leather or plaid. Dress it up with a super long-sleeve oxford or a chunky knit; dress it down with an ironic tee. Put feathers on, and throw a cropped leather moto over everything. Don’t forget the secret sauce: a gambler hat in trad black, flat brim tilted forward to your brows for extra formidability.
